Hey everyone!! I will be coming home next week with a 2018 blazing blue Pearl CM tundra. Very first thing I will be doing is lift and tires. I am looking at the Toytec 3 inch boss lift... I notice it does not have a larger UCA... What are everyone's thoughts on this? Is it even a necessity? What is everyone's experience with or without the larger UCA? Thanks in advance!

    Congrats on the new truck!

And no I don’t think you need new UCAs with the 3” boss.
I’m sure someone that has the kit will chime in here soon.

You’ll get better answers in the normal 3rd gen forum - this is the “build thread”.
    Just a heads up!
Oh - and I don’t think upper arms are required if keeping it at 3”. Most will recommend them to confirm your alignment stays in check.

I have the Toytec/Radflo 2.5’s, and mine aligned just fine with stock arms. I believe caster is at 2.4 and 2.6*, that would be improved with aftermarket arms. I’ll be upgrading at some point. @csuviper has the same lift as mine with TC UCA’s, and @T-Rex266 has SPC’s with his Boss 2.0’s.

Definitely recommend UCAs for alignment. Mainly caster angle. Can achieve higher angles for better ride with aftermarket UCAs. Possibility of bump steer if you don’t. I went ~2 years or so on the stock UCAs and Boss 3” kit. Ride was fine. Much better after adding the UCAs. Sounds like SPC is on backorder for the Tundra. I went with Total Chaos.
