    Thanks for the great welcome!
The cameras are a 4 camera system designed for RV and truck use. I came up with the idea after one of my early off road trips where I was cresting a steep hill and had no visibility in front of me. I thought it would be great to be able to see the view that the big hood was blocking instead of my wife trying to get out at the top of a steep climb and not loose her footing to spot for me. I searched around and found one on Amazon. The system is a Pyle PLCMTR104. It has a nice large screen, but the camera image quality is somewhat lacking. I went with a wired system. The toughest part of the install is getting the cable for the monitor through the firewall. I had to make a small cut in the rubber grommet on the driver's side and then make a cone shaped tool to pull the cable through. I still have not made any kind of mount for the monitor. My SR has the bench style seat in the front (no center console and the gear shift on the steering column). So for now, the monitor sets on the floor between the driver and passenger seating. The photo of the monitor was taken before I had installed the camera to the rear axle.
The P-38 is a nod to my dad who had bought one after the war and taught himself how to fly. He also had a Vultee BT-13. He sold both before I was born. My other hobby is scale RC airplanes. Coincidently, I drive past where Lockheed built the Lightning every day on my way to work in Burbank. The particular image was a public use image I found online. I took the image down to a wrap specialist and had it done as a 50% perf so you can still see out the back window from inside the truck.
