I see there are tons of threads on this, not to start another one but a few questions....

Do the BAK and Extang hard covers do that much better of a job of keeping everything dry and secure?

Seems like people have problems with hardware and leaking, meanwhile people with the $230 Tyger seem to love it with no issues at all.

Just trying to justify the extra money....

Which one would you get if you were doing it again?

I like my UnderCover. It's sturdy, light and easy to remove if need be, and fairly inexpensive at around $600. But if I had to do it all over again I think I may look harder at the BakFlips instead.

The only way to insure things stay dry is with a hard, non-folding tonneau. Folding and roll ups will leak water, maybe not much but will leak. Usually small amounts but can be enough to affect thing like cardboard or other things that absorb water.
if items in plastic totes or similar, should not be an issue.
