Hello, I currently have a SR5 with single zone AC. I would like to purchase a 2019 limited or platinum with dual zone AC. Has anyone on a regular basis noticed any differences in the air flow volume or temperatures?

    I could set mine to 60* and the passengers to 70*. I won’t get 60*. I’ll get mid 60’s.

How about air flow if you have ever had the chance to see the difference? Trying to see if its one squirrel cage on the SR5 or two on the Limited etc with dual controls.

If you are asking about effectiveness of dual zone climate control ... it is!
If you set it to 65/75, you can not get exact 65°F on one side and exact 75°F on the other for obvious reasons ... but it will keep both side (mainly the wife) happy! ;)

Don't have dual zone in my Tundra but have in other vehicles and wife's current vehicle has it. I don't notice much of a difference and this feature would factor in to any purchase decisions.

I’m pretty sure I would be divorced if we didn’t have dual climate controls in our vehicles.

I was set to buy an SR5 and the dealer let me take it home overnight to make sure the wife liked it. took the truck out to dinner on a chilly night and she wanted much warmer air on her side. For that reason almost entirely we bought a Limited.

Road tripping with wife us the single reason I have a Limited so I could get dual zone A.C. I don't know if I would do it again. What normally happens is she wants the temp a little warmer so she turns it up 20 degrees forcing me to turn mine down. It's still a battle just different rules.

I have a 17 limited and it’s the first time I have had dual zone control. I will never own a vehicle without again.

It's like heated seats ... Once you have them, you always will.
That's why I don't want to try seat cooler thing :D

His and her temp controllers are marriage savers.

    Won't be without them.

I had an '11 Platinum with the dual and went to a '16 SR5 with the single. Sometimes I wish it had the dual, other times I don't. My wife certainly misses it.

One of the things I didn't like about the dual is my wife would have it so much higher than my side that even with it blowing near or at max cold I could feel her heat coming to my side. I'd have it on 60, she'd have it on 80. Now I can put it where I want and I just give her a blanket on road trips.
