So I just picked up my truck. 2016 Platinum. So I knew going into the deal that I'd need at least rear brakes done. When I step on the brakes moderately, I get a shimmy in the seat. None in the pedal. So I know the rotors are warped. Also the pedal feels spongey. So If I am doing rears, might as well do the fronts as well. And a good brake fluid flush.

My question is, is there a brake upgrade kit for all fours out there somewhere? Is my only option the TRD big brakes? Is there even a point to doing a brake upgrade? Its not like I hot rod the truck or do a lot of towing, but who doesn't like stopping when you need to? Input is welcome! Thanks all.

I can't remember the exact price of the TRD big brake kit.....but I'm thinking around 2k....I don't feel I would get the "Value" out of it

I ordered the powerstop drilled and slotted rotor / ceramic pad kit. Had it for 5000 or so miles. I’ve been really happy with them.

Some other members recommended them and I think others have spoken highly of them.

I replaced my rotors and pads with SP Performance about 6 months ago. I have been happy with them, but you have to break them in properly and follow their directions. I went with the slotted/diamond cut with their normal pads. I would not do the drilled due to stress at the drill holes. I pull a boat every weekend and they have held up well. I may go with a better pad when the time comes.

Good to hear! I snagged these as well during a no tax event at 4x4WP. Gonna install before next RV season.
