Some MP3's missing when plugging flash drive into radio

Hello everyone,
I put music on a flash drive from my PC but when I plug it into my truck alot of songs are missing. As per the PC all songs are mp3 format. Im lost. Any idea’s?

Where are you getting the songs from? Some sources, like Amazon, have digital rights management (DRM) built in and have to "ping" up against the server to verify your account and that you have rights to play the song. Obviously there's no internet connection in the Tundra, so that would be my guess.

 

Not sure if the systems vary but mine has a maximum song count of 9999. I noticed that some of mine were missing and sure enough that's the magic number. Worth a try.

 

Folder structure, meta tags etc?

From my pc. Music riped from cd’s. I tried a song that was missing on anoth flash drive and it worked. Might be the flash drive
