Stupid question but what is the coffee cup all about?

Haven't looked into it, but it makes sense...3 hours is a long time so it asks if you want to rest

 

The part that scares me is that the data is being collected. So one day your insurance rates can be based on your propensity to drive while tired!?!?! Outstanding.

 

I've gone on 6-7 hours before and had no indication. Hmmm

 

I've thought about that...do they download the data now whenever you go to get maintenance?

Hellifiknow, but the potential is there. The owners manual has all sorts of disclaimers and I’ve heard seatbelt data and speed are routinely used during accident investigations. The potential is there so I won’t be surprised when this happens.

 

It's been almost 3 weeks and my wife hasn't driven my truck yet...and I doubt she will.

 

I'm picking up the same truck but MGM tomorrow. Can't wait to dump the tacoma

 

I'm glad I moved to the Tundra! Much more room!

 

My wife drives it all the time, I want her to be used to it... in case I get a stroke, ironically watching her drive.

My daughter's Prius displays the coffee cup if the white lines are crossed too many times. If the lines are not crossed, it will display "Good Job" (or something like that). She gets a kick out of it and likes a car with personality

Tell that to my daughter who named her car "Conner" after the android character in the video game Detroit Human.

 

I’ve only seen this pop up on my wife’s 18 Sienna. She had too many Lane Departure warnings within a certain time. (Surprise! Lol). I know my 2018 Tundra has it too but I rarely ever hear the Lane Departure warning when I’m driving.
