I have a problem... my factory alarm keeps going off every 20 min and it’s never done that before. Had the truck for 2 months and the alarm has never been that sensitive. Any ideas or suggestions. It’s driving me nuts!!

Had this happen when I first got the truck. Pissed me off because I couldn’t figure it out. Had to disconnect the battery overnight. Went to work the next morning and realized I left the dome light on. I didn’t think that could be it but it sure as hell was! Never had a vehicle do that. I’ve had some that will time out, but never made the alarm go off.

Ta-Da. Dome light was on... damn kids. Still Day light here so I didn’t even noticed. Thanks brotha!! Simple fix, but really appreciate it.

What irritates me about it, is you wouldn’t know it’s going off all day when you leave it parked somewhere. So I’m pretty good about checking my dome lights when I get out LOL
