Hey, just joined the Forums today. I just picked up a 2018 Crewmax TRD Offroad and ordered an ultra gauge. I searched the forums but didn't find many pics of this...but where are you all locating your ultra gauges and hiding the wiring. I want a clean factory look. Do I need to drill any holes or hide behind A pillar plastic? I had a scan gauge on my Tacoma and it had a pretty slick Blend Mount on the rear view camera and I hid the wiring above the headliner. Any pics or your creative installs are appreciated.

I’ll answer my own question. I put it up in the windshield. Removed the A pillar trim by popping off the airbag logo cap and taking out a single screw. Ran the wiring in the wiring guides in the pillar.

Nice job. That's what I was planning to do with mine but I decided to put it in my GTI instead. Putting my old SG2 back in my Tundra in that same spot now. My SG2 window mount doesn't have a long bar so it doesnt really block the visor if I want to lower it.

Considering a dash mount for my UG to keep it out of the sun. Gets hot here and the only complaint I see about these is they don't like hot. My GTI is like a fish bowl with all the glass.
