Looked under the truck and it does seem a little dry(looks like possible wear at the point of separation). What should I use to grease this area? Auto parts store? Dealership?

Grease gun with zerk fitting and proper grease as listed below easily purchased at auto store.

-6" RCD lift in front. -Custom leaf springs in rear 4" lift. -17" race line, raptor wheels. -35" Goodyear Duratrac. -4.88 gears. -ARB rear air locker. -ARB air compressor and tank. -Custom front sway bar quick disconnect -Custom one piece driveshaft -Black Oak Led 40 watt ditch lights.
It could be axle wrap. When I first lifted my truck I had the 4-inch blocks in the rear that came with the lift kit. I had bad axle wrap going on. When I would come to a stop. I could feel the axle move back. After I came to a complete stop and then would release the brake I could feel the axle move back forward. That's when I decided to get rid of the blocks and get bigger leaf springs.

Had a dream that some low life stole my coilovers off my truck. The odd part is they were kind enough to replace them with some funky generic ones. They were white with dark blue springs and had absolutely no body roll when I turned. I was so pissed until I woke up.

Anyone else running a camper shell with a front window opening? I bought my shell used and it didn’t come with the front window. Back in AZ I didn’t care much as we don’t see much rain there. Here in KC is a different story. Now I’m trying to brainstorm some ideas to have a “front window” since it’s wide open. (Which is nice when I roll down the back window of the truck)

I’m currently thinking of getting a large plastic bin and cutting it into the same size of the window opening and attaching it with Velcro (for easy removal when needed, as I sometimes crawl from the bed into the truck lol).

    Anyone else have any ideas?

HD and Lowes have sheets of acrylic.

Or they make boots to seal from cab to cap.

Acrylic could be a good idea. Thanks for that. I’ll check at Home Depot when I head there tomorrow.

I looked at the rubber cap boots but dang tbeyre expensive. I almost grabbed some pool noodles to do the trick lol

Depending on the size you need the acrylic may not be much cheaper than the boot.

Might be one of those buy once cry once scenarios.

Yeah we will find out... if it’s ridiculous, I’ll go back to plan a and find some large Plastic storage bin and cut the shape from that. If I can’t find a large enough bin (the window is 58”x14”) I’ll have to do two separate pieces.

I don’t plan on spending over $40 on this lol

Try a thrift store for cheapy bins. Always plenty there.

Just sold a bunch of stuff on there that was just sitting around not getting used. Stuff sold fast with serious buyers.

Oh there is that. Maybe watch craigslist for a 100gal acrylic fish tank? People often have "I'm moving and cant bring this" sales here. The 54" part is what's killing you. If you could section it somehow it would be easier.

Depending on rain you may have to go ghetto with the plastic sheets and tape. just don't think ghetto, think Dexter kill room.

Does the vvti v8 have a transmission dipstick? I can't seem to find it.

Sometimes when I shut my door or passenger door I hear a "dink" from under the truck. Wonder what it could be.

Yep exactly. That length is where is sucks. I’m gonna run around today to find some cheaper ones. May have to cut two bins up and have two separate pieces to cover it up.
And the plastic sheeting... hmmm hahaha sounds sketchy. But I’m sure it would be annoying during the the wind

@01erionracing yes exactly!! But not that price lol

Picked up a new 3rd light assembly. Looks like there is no fastener on the back side, just holds in with 4 plastic clips. Interesting considering this part prevents water from getting in. There is a foam gasket surrounding the 3 bulb bulges.

Removed rear wheels and drum covers. Cleaned brakes. Sanded and painted drums and inside of wheels with black Rustoleum industrial spray. Did the same for the trailer wheels.

Washed the undercarriage of salt. And bathed the rest of the truck and the other car.

Noticed a pinhole starting to develop on the side of the muffler on the pass side.

Whats the best thing to do here? The pipes seem solid fore and aft. The muff body is giving in.

Want stock type thats same quietness. Something that will last. Suggestions?

I used foam pipe insulation that has a split in it around the edges of the opening in my camper shell then ran a bead of silicone around the outside to help keep the foam from getting soaked when it rains.
