I had a long trip last Sunday, filled up with 485 miles on the tank. Computer mileage was 19.5, hand calc showed 20.1 mpg.

I don't want to be a jerk, but 70 hp on exhaust, a spacer and CAI?
    :anonymous:
I'm not sure I'm buyin' it. That's more than halfway to supercharger numbers. You either have something else you're not sharing or that's a typo.

Full tune up (Denso OEM plugs, new air filter, valve cover gasket change, PCV valve/port clean and replace, and all diffs/transfer case oil changes). Stock height on 285/75/r16. Getting 17mpg highway again. City 10-12mpg (no change).

Engine temps seem lower. Key word ‘seem’.

I doubled up on the gloves so it wasn’t too bad. Gotta couple blisters still. Nothing the emergency room and high quality hand model insurance couldn’t handle.

I still would want it clean. Depending on how dirty it gets, I’m sure it could affect it. Just like a cabin air filter, when they get dirty they don’t flow as well.

I agree. I change mine if dirty but I have run on some pretty dirty ones before I was able to change after spending time at hunting ranch. Never noticed much drop in MPGs. I should probably keep a clean one in truck for return trips from ranch just in case it gets dirty.

I’m not maxing them out, but i’m running more than they suggest in the door jam. Front tires 36 to 38. The rears are up to you but since I don’t run much weight in the back I run mine a little low for better traction and consistent tread contact. I think I have them about 28 or 30 psi.

I'm getting 13.5 to 14.5 average on my 2013 crewmax 4x4. I'm running 305/55/20 nitto ridge grapplers. Using k&n drop in air filter and running borla pro xs duals 2.5" exhaust out the back. Talked to Keith at dirty deeds and he is setting me up with 2 mufflers and x- pipe.super excited about what it will sound and run like!! He is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to exhaust and the tundra! Thanks everyone who told me to talk to him!

Drove my stock limited however I wanted and averaged 13.7 over 6 months time. That’s pretty good for a truck our size with that beefy V8. I accelerated quickly and didn’t gramps it around

Also, averaged 15.0 on the dot on a road trip from Austin to Chicago including driving around Chicago. Going about 80-85 the whole way there.

LOL I could be standing right next to that Tundra on a Dynamometer, see the readout at 450HP, still not believe it, and let the Dyna know vociferously that it's full of sheyat.

Exactly I would be questioning it because if your only mods are a throttlebody spacer and a cold air intake. It’s not going to give you 70 hp, ever! Especially not to the wheels. so if someone is taking the claims that a company puts online for their product and believing it... they have been snowed. A lot of companies will claim 33% horsepower increase! Total bullshit. Same thing with the throttlebody spacer. I figure throw a decimal point in front of 33%.
