dangerious acting tundra. when I go around a curve fairly hard between 25 and 55mph I get a loud warning sound from the dash, grinding noise from the front end and the steering kind of freezes up. this is without the brakes being applied. dealer says its normal. funny it didn't do it for 70000mi. 2008 sr5 dbl cab 5.7 99000mi

That doesn't sound normal. What warning on the dash do you get? Traction Control?

Welcome from Texas, let's see your ride, what warning lights came on dash? Any codes? We're you in 4wd or any other drive gears?

I have had this happen on my truck. The traction control is kicking in and it's very annoying. Did you replace your tires recently or have worn tires?
I have a 3 inch lift and Goodyear Duratrac tires and I believe I need the computer calibrated for the lift. The computer has a way of sensing your angles and knows something is off. I haven't heard a lot but I have a theory about my tires. The Duratrac are snow rated and therefore probably has a softer compound for cold weather. The tires have a little give in the turns and the traction control is freaking out, especially in hotter weather.
Once to traction control light stayed on for a day after the hard turns but it went off after some driving.
    Hope this helps.

Did you ever find out what was wrong? My 2012 started grinding 2 days ago and now this horrible grind. Afraid to even move it.

Probably rear wheel bearings. There is a TSB about it. Cost about $2k to fix in my 2010 Tundra.
