Fender clearance question.

So I broke out the tape measure tonight to discover that my trucks passenger side wheel well (rear) sits a full 1 inch higher than drivers side. I'm a little puzzled by this. I know the fuel tank is on driver side but even so it only has half a tank. Anyone else made this observation? Front wheel both measure in very close to each other.

 

Thanks Ron! My front tire wheel wells also measure in right about 37in from pavement to top of wheel well. It was the rear wheel wells where I discovered the difference. One side was 39 the other 40. Sorry I didn't specify that. And my 14 only has 15250 on it so far.

 

Yeah, the fuel tank, the battery and the driver all sit on the same side. Makes it lean after a while, noticed that on all my previous trucks.

It's the famous Yota lean. The Tacos have it too. Some guys add a CB shim up front on the drivers side to level it off

 

It doesn't bother me that bad just wanted to make sure I didn't have an issue before my road trip to Wyoming.

 

So what kind of lift are you running?

 

No lift, stock truck. The 37in was in reference to the measurement from pavement to top of wheel well. That was not clairified well. Will edit. Sorry for that confusion.

 

Was going to say, no lift ,then you weren't running 37"tires.
