    Hello Everyone.
I have a 2018 Tundra SR5 with the TRD Sport package. Unlike most Tundra's that have the bulge in Chrome or Black,.......the bulge is painted on my truck. My hood is painted all the way across the front lip of the hood. Of course that means every piece of sand or bug that hits the front is capable of damaging the front of the hood.
Does anyone know of a bug deflector that tucks under the hood and goes across the entire very front of the hood?
Thanks for your input on this.

No,......I wish it had the invisible shield stuff. I am trying to find someone to install aftermarket. But we are at about $1600 for hood and fenders. If I had a bug deflector,......might just save the $$$$ and go that way. But cant seem to find one.

@Sas has a pretty nifty bug-flector on his truck.
Maybe he can chime in with the brand and where he got it.

I'm new to this forum as I just purchased my Tundra. So I am not sure whom @Sas is. But any information on a deflector that would run across the entire front would be sweet and much appreciated. I have purchased one,.... three times now and had to return them. When I call the salesman,.....they always tell me it is exactly what I am looking for. Yet each time it swings up and goes over the bulge,...leaving most of the front of the hood exposed.
By the way,....that you for your quick response.

Ah, so you want one that installs before the bulge?
Unfortunately I don't think anyone makes one like that.

you wont need a bug deflector good paint on Toyota. should not have to worry much about stone chips unless you follow closely, the bug shields make the tundra look UGLY. look like a old guys truck

Thank you Sas. I am checking them out now. Found the smooth. Want to compare with the rough. Thank you for your insight. This looks like my best bet. Was it hard to install?

It's detailed, but not hard. I think there's some info on their site about the install and it also comes with good instructions. Between the two of them it all makes sense. It's a well-designed deflector.

Thank you. I m going to go ahead and order it. (Could not find the rough version. Thought about having it painted to match truck)
Since I have no chrome or black buldge, I may look into painting if it is not to flexible.
Thank you everyone for all your input.
