Got the truck back from the shop recently ( cant believe a starter went out on a toyota at 100k, but...) now the stereo just doesnt sound the same. I have adjusted base and treble, but it just doesnt seem to have the same clarity or lowes as it did prior. Is this whole thing in my head or could they have messed something up? I dont see a place where a dub could be. I thought maybe a factory sub wasn't working or something, but I'm not sure it has one. Help appreciated.

It's not inconceivable that something electrical happened to radio when work was done. The battery should have been disconnected for the work. If key was in on position, maybe shorted inadvertently, radio could have been taken a hit. Or if older radio just didn't like the power cycle.
I would think it just the radio, not other components. just my .02
    good luck!

They may have disconnected the battery to work on the starter. Go thru your stereo settings
