Bed mounted tool box

Heres a write up for an easy storage box in your bed. You need two people to bolt it down. My dad bough me the box from Murdocks in Colorado. It needs weather stripping added to it. I modded the lock lever with weather stripping to keep it from clanking around.

4- 3/8x 2" bolts with washers and lock washers

I used tape lined up with the bed lines to line up my holes when the box was in position. Make sure the lid opens and can stay open by itself after install.

Disregard child labor laws. I used a ginger kid.

 

I've been thinking about mounting a full size box in the bed, but can't bring myself to drill holes thru the metal. It looks good man!
