Programmer

I just got a 2018 tundra and was wondering if anyone put a programmer or tuner in theirs yet. If so how did it go and what type?

 

I have a 17 and just put a BullyDog GT on it. I have been pleased with it so far, but really haven’t tested it out much. I didn’t do it for more horsepower, but mainly to help with shifting while towing. I have not pulled a trailer since I’ve installed it. I feel like it is a nice improvement for the money though. Unfortunately it’s not avaialable for 2018 yet

Toyota redesigned the ecu and it is locked down. Until Toyota releases an update for it there is no way to even crack into it.

They do it every couple of year to keep us on our toes. Haha
