Whenever I turn off my 2018 Tundra TRD Sport Crewmax, there is always a soft, but audible "ah-oo-gah" sound kind of like the old vintage horn. It is not an actual horn sound, but something with the engine when powering down. Have any of you noticed this with your Tundras? Any thoughts on what it is or if I should be concerned? Thanks for your help.

Ha ha ha!! I am totally serious, my friend. A friend of mine also pointed it out today. If I can, I will try to upload an audio clip of the sound.

Yeah. If you could post a sound clip, that would be helpful. I have never heard of this before.

maybe its the sound of the fuel pump?

I think it is the air injection pumps cycling right after shutdown. I hear it on mine too.

Agree. Mine makes a sound when I turn it off like something winding down. Google said it was normal. Something with the emissions.

It's the jet engine releasing pressure after landing at your destination.

Thanks for the replies and laughs! I tried recording it, but I coudn't capture in the garage. I'll try when it's outside tomorrow, although it looks like the sound is probably just normal.
