Just installed my 7" lift with 35x12.5x20 and about 200 miles later I started hearing a grinding noise coming from front passenger tire and a loud knocking noise when taking off. Any clue what it could be?

Welcome from Texas, let's see your ride, you install lift yourself? Or shop? All parts tighten to torq spec? Wheel spacers? Tires rubbing front of tire mud flap? Cab mount chop done or needed?

Front mud flaps have already been cut due to rubbing at install. A shop installed.

Metal grinding or plastic? Is it going straight or turning?

The grinding is metal. To describe in better detail it sounds like the thin brake dust cover got bent and is rubbing on the inside of my rotor but when I looked there is no visual markings on the rotor and a decent gap all the way around d the dust cover.

That's where I hear my grinding from also. I took mine back to the install shop and had them check everything for tightness last week and haven't had any more noises since I got it back. They said they found a couple loose bolts.
