I recently purchased 295/70 R 18 NItto ridge grappler‘s . On my 2014 tundra TRD. I have a rash rough country leveling kit. But my upper control arm is about a quarter inch from the tire. I was wondering if anyone is running into any issues with that being so close.
The only thing that rubbed when I turned all the way was my skid plate. I took care of that with a grinder. I would appreciate some feedback.

I’m no expert by any stretch of the imagination but that would be to close for my liking. You may be fine though.
    Do you do any wheeling?

I guess not since I don’t know what the hell you mean by wheeling.

Nothing extreme. Just when I go hunting in ga. No mud slinging or rock climbing. .

Nice looking truck! I don't know if you'll have any issues, but if you do, you can add some 1" wheel spacers to better clear the upper control arm.

Mine are close as well. Stock wheels like yours and same size tires. I was told it would be ok as long as I didn't do any extreme offroading. I have some wheel spacers I might throw on, but that causes other rubbing issues. Nothing that can't be taken care of easily, just the front liner and front mudflap.

I had the same issue with my 295s. Here are some spacers. I went with the 1in option.

I have the exact same set up. I've taken my truck off road quite a bit and haven't had any issues. I was concerned with the minimal gap as well. First few times I went off roading ( nothing too crazy but 4x4 was required) I looked for any rubbing issues and couldn't see anything.

same truck, same tires, and the same amount of lift. the inner side wall of the tires is about 1/4" from the UCA, but has never caused any issue.IMG_0538.jpg IMG_0596.jpg IMG_0523.jpg

I just did the same thing. Did you ever find a solid solution?
