I got too close to the TOYOTA letters on my pro grill and stripped some of the silver paint.

Any advice on how to fix it?? What paint matches?

Saw a post somewhere a while back that they're just held in by tabs and pop right out. You could just pop them all out and paint match them to your truck or paint them whatever color you like. I'm not sure of the particular silver if you're wanting to paint just one though.

Actually, I just went and looked at mine and it looks like those letters are held on by double-sided tape. So you should be able to take them off with just some fishing line or strong dental floss.

They are just held on with double sided tape and tiny guide tabs. Not bad to pop off. I think they are painted magnetic grey metallic but don't quote me. I removed mine and painted them a lighter silver color then sprayed clear coat over that. A few coats of each. This is a good opportunity to choose a color of your liking for the letters

Good idea! It’s a magnetic gray truck so I’m not sure, maybe black.

I wanted mine to stand out more so I went a lighter color. I always liked the old landcruiser grills and they had white letters. I went light silver. If you go black you won't see the letters very well at all

I took mine out and replaced it with @stingray led letters, which are bad ass. That can also be an option.
But if you just want the A i can hook you up, lmk.

The letters on the front of the grille aren't sold separately by Toyota.

    Not enough space here...
Thanks for the mentions guys. As other said you can easily remove your scratched letter without even taking the grill off. just use a heat gun/hairdryer and some braided fishing line, just be aware there are two aligment pins on each letter that you'll have to work around. They are just held on by double sided tape. used the 3M vhb tape when you re-install it. The paint color is lighter then MGM and darker then silver sky metallic. Not sure what the actual color code is for the letters themselves, but you'd probably be better off repainting all of them together. Or.....I can make you a new set if you would like and can paint them any color you want. If you want them LED backlit I can do that as well. I don't have the regular letters listed on my website yet but I do make them. The LED backlit ones can be found here https://www.harmoncustoms.com/product/custom-led-backlit-trd-pro-grill-letters/ if you would like a set of just the regular letters, not backlit just click on quote, enter your info and I'll get back to you with a price.

Thanks for the info man, for now Ely01060 is hooking me up with his old letters. I added those badass LED letters on my list to buy those.
