    Hello again y’all. I’ve posted before getting opinions on my 4.6L 2018 Tundra not having a Tow/haul button. I took the dash off today to see how hard it’s gonna be to install my brake controller. I have 3 wire harnesses on the tow/ haul button side. I’m wondering if it’s pre-wired for a tow/haul button...thanks in advance

    I believe that if it did not originally come with the “tow package” it doesn’t have the harness wiring for a controller.

    My apologies for leaving that out. It does have the tow package.

    FYI, just because it’s got a hitch receiver doesn’t mean it has the tow package

    Tow package is not there, just the receiver. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

    @Wirenut
    Don’t despair, most quality trailer shops should be able to wire it in or maybe someone else will chime in with directions. Controllers have been being added for decades before manufacturers started doing it. But, you won’t have the other items that come with the package.
