Volant 54916 and Corsa 24916

I'm looking at exhaust and was close to buying the Corsa DB 24916. My buddy has it and I like the way it sounds. I attended a 4 Wheel Parts show over the weekend and learned Corsa and Volant are part of the same company. I then ran across the Volant 54916 after the show. On to my question: Does anyone know if these are the same exhaust systems just branded differently? Maybe Volant had this out prior to being acquired and then Corsa rebranded? I can get the Volant for nearly $200 cheaper!

 

I just purchased the 54916 because I was informed it was made by Corsa and I am a huge Corsa fan after running them on several vehicles. When I unpacked it, the box was marked Volant and inside were two Corsa performance stickers...Installation was easy and the sound is pure Corsa. No drone, quiet idling and just rips Corsa when you get on it!! I couldn't be any happier!! Can't beat the price either...

 

Shortly after I posted this, I purchased it and completely agree with you. I'm very happy with the exhaust and glad I went this route instead of some of the other ways I was considering. And I think it's the lowest price exhaust I've ever purchased! My buddy that convinced me listen to his Corsa on his tundra prior to my purchase was pissed when he found out I got the same exhaust for $200 less! Ha.
