Finished the shower kit install over the weekend. Install was easy enough (as long as you dont underestimate the # of hoseclamps you need:frusty:). That said its works great, water gets nice and hot very quickly. I would recommend cycling water for several minutes back into a container rather that running directly off of the hot water output. Just to avoid scalding :bananadead:. To complete the install, you will need to pickup some 3/8'' and 1/2'' hose clamps also some braided water line and bulk heater hose. Hose lengths will vary depending on your setup. After much debate this is what I thought worked best regarding location under the hood. Im sure some of you are far better engineers than I and could come up with something better. Due to the nature of this mod tapping into the heater hoses, I would recommend buying some spare formed heater hoses as replacements. On the off chance you booger it up:notsure:.

Heres are a few shots of the finished install.

Thanks for the nod. No build thread ( I don't feel like it rates one). Just plan on minor mods and gear. Nothing as technical as my Land Cruiser mods which definitely warranted a lengthy write up..........I miss that thing:facepalm:

I do not plan on running dual batteries as of now (maybe in the future depending on lighting upgrades). The fridge freezer does not draw enough power to kill the battery if you run the engine at least 15min a day while camping. I also carry an emergency jump starter just in case the battery was weakened.

Removed the Leer for the summer and adding the new propeller mod. Because lets be honest... Super chargers are kinda played out :stirthepot:

Had to modify the brackets that came with it. (I hacksawed the ends off and drilled a new hole.)

The blue wire was tapped so that my switch will light up with the dash lights.

It turned out better than expected and the light it throws out is very impressive. I was concerned about how far back it was mounted but turned out perfect.

I went and got a load of horse feed, 750 lbs all the way in the back of the bed and the hellwig springs are keeping the truck nice and level and the firestone aren't smashing downf6873c51d203164e2d903ea2b78aeb99_875c3a4ef301b5273b264ea3d822563ab1ad9c7f.jpg0a7d6f8a4fae71de2f3f8e1b04a55f58_12fe3c37debf37d675c97dc72a6124481219d409.jpg
Very happy with the helper springs, this is the most weight I've had in the bed with them on. Can't wait to get a pallet of bedding and see how they do then

The new mod. So that I don't have to drive the tundra less than 5 miles to work. Lmao! Sure makes me smile riding it around the neighborhood though. Had the cruiser, and my brother-in-law got two little two-stroke engines off of fleabay from China and bolted it up to the bike. There's so many little things you could do to it to make it cool. But for now it's a work in progress's and it runs. It's a little 80cc engine.image.jpg

Yeah it definitely needs some more cool factor. Friday night my bro and I put it together real quick in his backyard. The kit is kind of janky but who cares it was fun. Silly zip ties holding things on and cheesy brackets. You could have a field day making it more custom but I just wanted something to play with Saturday night at the barbecue LOL. I'll probably slowly change things for the better. The kit is very universal but it only cost me 100 bucks. Hopefully it will motivate me to fix my quad so I can go do some real riding again. image.jpg

2006 TRX 450. Jet kit, pipe, twist throttle, big shot, Renthal bars and aftermarket rims and tires DG front bumper mid skid plate and swing arm skid. I messed up third gear and the transmission locked up. Taking it to the track too much and I'm a big dude. It's gonna cost me about a G. It's been a while since I've riden it.

    1G3-TRD,

Could I ask what flares you have on your truck? Also, do you have any spacers behind your TRD rims?

    Thank you for any info!

Thanks a lot. Very much appreciate it if you could let me know the make of them. They look great! Your tires aren't sunk way back in either, which is why I wondered if you had spacers.

I drive quite a bit of gravel and my truck is chipping pretty badly inside the wheel wells. Even tho I have been babying it on the back roads, and it's driving me nuts. Been looking at maybe doing flares for some protection, but don't want to change rims or need spacers.

When I had the flares with the stock tires they did look sunk in to far and I thought I was going to need spacers, I decided to wait to see the new tires and was glad I did because I didn't really want to use spacers.

Just curious what tires are u running?
