Did for about a month with UP about 3 years ago. They needed me to move 17 miles closer to the yard so I'd be within 30 miles. I didn't have $6k to break a lease and move, starting another lease. Oh well. Their loss. They seemed a little militant about safety. lol Rightfully so though. There are things around that can crush you in an instant but the holding a handrail going up a flight of stairs was a little much.

 

Lower half just about done, need to install my Rough County loser grill light bar. “Brackets installed” what ya think???

 

Woke up today to the darkest immaginable sky / smoke, I thought the alarm clock was busted at first. Seemed like 4:00am at 9:00 it was so dark and eerie.

We finally had some showers yesterday and overnight, and judging by the STRONG wet fire smell this morning, at least some of the fires around must have got some. Wish we’d get a few days more, to take the smoke out of the air, and help the fire situation more.

It’s brightened some now, but still have the lights on in the house mid day.

 

Yeah I've been with em for 13 yrs, ther safety book is about a foot thick! Yeah lots of rules with em but I love em! Love my schedule 8 on 7 off

They love the water! They are fun to play with in the river, especially the husky. He becomes a pup again in water

Caught a little break in the rain this afternoon got led bulbs in waiting for dark to try them but I think thy look good now I have to do the rest of them

 

Spent a lil time at the parents house today. Thought Id grab some pics of my Dads train set up. He says its super amateur but I think its pretty cool.
