At 7:00 or so he starts talking about the tech in other trucks that people want. The reason I bought the Tundra is because it didn't have all that crap. I bought it because it was huge and they just work.

There really doesn't seem to be any good reason for me to upgrade my 2017 PRO.

But that's good, because I don't want to upgrade.

I have to say you are right on that assessment and why I love my '15 Pro. It does kinda hurt when you hear him say "This is the oldest fullsize truck you can buy now". After skipping a year I was hoping to see more than new shocks and a fake hood scoop.

The fake hood scoop bothers me. You already have one on there, why add a second one? Reminds me of a bad Xzibit meme lol.

Yeah, I was kind of expecting a little more. Had they bumped up the tech a little, I would have almost definitely bought a new one.

Well the first fake hood scoop was solved thanks to SDHQ. I sense more light mods in the future :boink:@sdhq_offroad

I’ll be keeping my 2011 until they truly come out with a new Tundra, don’t get me wrong they’re great trucks and they work the way they are. But there is definitely room for improvement... hopefully in the form of a factory locking rear diff! The Tundra is now the only full sized truck without the option of a factory rear locker....

I like my 2017 pro. I really have no desire to have TSS or any additional nannies. I would like a real locker however. Like others have said the lack of extra crap to break is part of what drew me to the Tundra.

Part of the reason we went with the Tundra was the proven components and lack of electronic nannies and fuel economy crap (cylinder cutoff, turbos, etc.). While a Raptor would be fun, I’m too cheap to want to maintain one. My ‘16 is good enough for me!

the moment he talks about chevy's cylinder deactivation as a positive he loses all credit.

if you don't know trucks then stick to reviewing Prius' and Corollas.
