I know a lot of folks dislike chrome on their trucks, but I'm one of those that actually like it. I had a 2009 Taco and upgraded about a month ago to a 2018 DC TRD Off Road Limited. I love the chrome on it and added the chrome inserts on the tailgate. I also added the BakFlip, put on a 6" antenna, and swapped out the interior lights for red led's.

tundra3.jpg I think it depends on the color of the truck. I have mica bronze, would like to at least tone down my chrome,

Personally I like chrome on most any pickup truck. I have a 2011 SR5 double cab, I'm in the process of adding extra bling. So far I have added chrome mirror caps and chrome front door handles, in addition to the factory chrome bumpers(the bumpers are a lot more chrome on the older body style).

Thinking about chrome rear door handles, but maybe not, the body color ones flow pretty well with the body lines. Looking for a billet or mesh grill insert, not sure what I want to do there yet.

Might get some chrome side steps, I took the ugly black ones that were on my truck off and really haven't missed them much. Just grab the handle and jump a bit to get into the truck.

I also have a set of "Rock Warrior" wheels I'm going to put on, I liked them because they were a bit subtle, polished lip with grey spokes, the all chrome wheel look IMO is a bit dated and 90's/early 00's IMO(but chrome wheels do look good on certain vintage land yatchs and muscle cars).

I like some chrome. I did tone it down a bit though.
