What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

I should have my blue lives matter decals delivered any day now. Not sure what style I'm getting but I asked for small ones for license plate. Made a donation to a local PD and they had run out and said they'd mail me some

 

Will end out drilling new holes and putting on a rubber gasket to close that gap and help it rattle around less. I can still get it in the garage, but it's by less than an inch if I leave it alone. That's an annoying parking job.

 

Dreamers of diesel would never fall for it. Prius drivers, well, lets just say this badge has been fun so far.

 

I do the same with the tank. My wife has a Prius. When people ask me about my gas mileage I tell them that she gets about 500 miles per tank and I get about the same. I also don't tell them that she has a 9 gallon tank and I have a 38 gallon.

 

Anyone use the Weather Tech window visors? Not sure if they would enhance the look as well at ventilation sitting in a parking lot on a hot Texas day or if they would look like... well, you know.

 

I do. They're the in-channel kind.

The only issue I had was the front ones were a little loose when the window was rolled down, so they sent me some rubber "feet" to take up the slack. They fit really nice and tight now and I'm not worried about the plastic damaging the weatherstripping anymore either. Weathertech sent them to me for free when I mentioned the problem I was having. They'll also send you some sticky tape for the back ones if you need it.

 

Well, lets start brother and get the emblems! I'de lmao just seeing people look and wonder!

 

I decided to wash and wax it since it wasn't raining and the skies "were" blue. Then decided to tint the front windows 20% to match the rear.



Then I decide to add the DBD bed decals that Matt designed so I go put everything away and get my heat gun to remove the factory decals and then the skies open up and its pouring. I rush to put the truck away because it looks so nice and clean.
Since the garage is small or the truck is just to big I only did one side today.

 

I want to get a SOLAR badge and watch people go hunting for the panels. Then I can tell them they're on the underside of the truck and use a reflective technology that absorbs more light from the asphalt than directly from the Sun.

Did that about a month ago. Bought it on Ebay for $38.49. Pretty simple to put on.

I use them as well. No complaints and have had them 3 years. Mine flapped around when I had the windows down and it drove me nutts but nothing a little double sided sticky tape can't fix

 

Nice Jim I really like that. U coming up with some cool shit lately. I'm not even a decal guy. That red one on the MGM is sharp, reflective in amber even better.

looks nice and clean brother! just wondering how hard is it to remove the original decal with the heat gun. never done it before but contemplating. did you use goo gone to remove the sticky stuff? thanks in advance.

SO SIMPLE!
I felt the same way as you. As per Matt @DecalsByDesign heat it up with a heat gun until it's hot enough to barely touch with your fingers. I used a plastic scraper to start it and it just peeled right off. No glue residue left behind, I then just cleaned it with alcohol then applied the new one.

 

Not raining just did the passenger side.
