My daughter just got a 2018 Tundra 4wd SR5 with the tow package for a work truck, but it came with just standard mirrors. She tows a 22' enclosed trailer for her business and needs the extendable mirrors, the truck has BMS.

Her birthday is coming up and I thought the mirrors or at least some money towards them would be a good gift, but I don't know whats available. I don't have a problem going after market and saving a little money, as long as they are good quality, will hold up and don't vibrate.

Are there mirrors that offer power extend/retract as well as power folding that work with BMS. If so, other than a new switch with the added extend/ retract/ fold functions would I have to change the wiring harness .

I really have no idea whats available as far as mirrors go so any help is greatly appreciated.

Got in touch with Roman and checked out his thread on accessories and parts, it's pretty impressive took a lot of time to put that together. Looks like Toyota for some reason doesn't offer BSM compatibility in their extension mirrors. I did find 1A Auto carries Trail Ridge mirrors and Trail ridge makes a set that is BSM compatible, they are manual extend, manual fold but that looks like the best I can do. Adding the power extend and power fold would get more involved than I want to be in 110 degrees right now and a whole lot more expensive. The trail ridge mirrors are pretty much 5-star rated in all the reviews I saw, so I'm going to give them a try. Thanks everyone.

Toyota needs to up their game and sell a BSM compatible tow mirror.

I have the Toyota OEM tow mirrors and I love them, however my truck is a 14' with no BSM, so it's a moot point for me.

I really hate the looks of Tundra factory tow mirrors. I sold mine and went back to clamp on, removable versions.

You can always install LEDs in the sail panels for the BSM system. I did this in my 2018 because I installed power fold mirrors from a 2012 Limited that didn't have BSM.
