Can anyone point me in the direction of the thread that shows how to remold the plastic by the front bumper to fit 35’s without rubbing? I saw a post about it months ago before I even had this account or a tundra and haven’t been able to find it since. I think it was made by either sdhq or icon, and was used to show that the six speeds fit without cab mount chop

Thanks I saw that one last night. I have relentless fabs cab mount plates ordered and bring them with me when I drop the truck off just in case, I’d really like to avoid doing that though but I have it in the event I need it.
The part I’m talking about is the plastic in front of the tire that is screwed into the front bumper. A lot of people have mentions taking a heat gun and re molding it, I actually watched a video last night about the ‘NorCal’ mod where they actually cut a bit of the bumper and plastic so the tire doesn’t rub

All you have to do is use the heat gun and warm it until you can actually push it forward. I’m not sure where the video is but you can use a grinder to cut the bumper really easily
