What was the reason you upgraded.your skid plate? I was considering it for the drain plug access but don't really know the differences. Silver and a bit more coverage?

The skid that came on it is really just a thin piece of shit steel.Bendable by hand.
Pro is thicker aluminum and offers more protection and also makes it easier to change oil. Besides it looks way nicer.

Thanks gents, another thing to add to the list! Shame on Toyota for putting that on the normal "TRD" package...

Almost finished. I think it needs a push bar on top surface. Also thinking an LED fog setup. Any suggestions?

About $250 plus shipping. I went through Roman of Toyota of cool springs. He is a vendor on the site.

Here is the link for the grill.
    http://parts.toyotaofcoolsprings.co...le-and-components-scat/?part_name=grille-assy
    Or the main page
    http://parts.toyotaofcoolsprings.com/

The grill comes with the grill surround minus the upper part which is called the hood bulge. If you want that you need to order that separately. It comes in only the pro colors if I'm not mistaken but he can have them painted whatever color you want. I just got it in white and removed the insert and kept my chrome.

Yes sir. Yeah I thought about keeping the white and ordering the bulge but then it's just downhill from there, I would have to do my bumper ends then I would want to do my door handles and mirror caps. Then I would start to look like every other dude that wants to have a pro. And there is definitely nothing wrong with that because that looks badass! I just thought I would be a little different and keep my SR5 trim with the pro grill insert.

Hey members ... New to the forum and don't know how to post pictures, but done during the last 6 days. Spray in Full Metal Jacket bedliner, installs N-Fab Hooped W2W 2 step nerf bars, installed AVS window visors, installed my Undercover Flex bed cover and done today my AMP Research bedstep. Question about the bedstep though .... I was under the impression that the step would come out towards the back of my Tundra. My step comes out more to the side of the truck opposite of the stock exhaust. Is that normal for the bedstep on a 3rd gen? Any picture would be greatly appreciated.

If it went straight back you couldn't use it when your tailgate is down.

Well by back ... it's suppose to do so out and back to the left so you could use it with the gate down. My just comes out to the left more like the bedstep 2 and looks off when tucked up under the bumper.

Thanks 15whtrd, that's exactly what I am looking for .... Mine doesn't look like those at all. I'm assuming those bed steps are made by AMP research. I wonder if I purchased the wrong one but double checked my order and everything looks right. Anyone have their AMP bed step look different than these?

My wife said to me today "couldn't someone just take those shackles off of your bumper" and I replied "I quess they could" so that prompted a search online and a trip to tractor supply for some billet aluminium set screw sleeves. Then when I got home I had to paint them black and install them. So now it's not as easy as unscrew the pin and take the shackles, now you need a allen key to get them off. cd27391b72d0b30259fcef643446ef3e_c723d8c884e6badf07bfdb9f0496587e2df3f05c.jpga8592e185e84717c099c6c79ec59b24d_ab1a95dc9ecea353ebf6a0504eb7a6545ab2963d.jpg
After that was done I was feeling motivated so I decided to tint the windows on my boat

As she went to bed tonight she said "I wish I never said anything about those shackles"

    LOL

Well not today but two days ago I finally installed my TRD swaybar. Have only driven around the city and love it so far. It is night and day compared to what it was in the handling department. We shall see how it does out on the highway with the bed bounce issue. Would love if there was a quick disconnect system I could put on it and strap up the swaybar and links.
