Having problems with maf have k&n cai an hyperforce interceptor tuner burnt to Mars checked systems from ecm out any suggestion?

Years ago I had a K&N drop filter in which req'd oiling, I over oiled it and the excess oil vaporized on the MAF and muddied it up, cleaned the MAF and the filter and engine ran great again. This only applies of you oil your filter and applied to much like I did??? If not, I am sorry I couldn't provide better insight.

Yes I'm aware went as far as installing a new filter still issues
