So I reside just outside a small town in Oklahoma, not a bad place but far from great. Anyway so last week someone decided hey lets move a house.

Great right? Noooooooooo you see once they got the house lifted and up on rails, they got it stuck and blocked a residental street for hours, until they finally got it moving.

    All good right? Noooooooo

You see the house is to tall to clear the intersections and power lines on one of the main roads thru town.
They also had no permits, licenses, insurance and no escort....

So now the house sits on the corner of Mississippi and 10th, until god now when, LOL rednecks, what the hell were they thinking.
You cant just decide to trailer a damn house, a full sized regular house down the road, ROFLMAO...

LOL that is actually for sale, If I had the funds that's where my BBQ joint would be, just blocks away from the college, right on one of the main roads in town.

I've watched many house movings, when they built I-495 on the Virginia side of DC, with the right equipment and preparation, pros make it look simple. Don't see it here.

Hook up to it Rich! You have a Tundra...free home. Lol

I used to assist in moving homes by moving power lines up and what not. This is a big deal with a lot involved.

I was stuck behind something similar in the mtns near my home, each time the transported home would pass under some phone or cable lines (power was much higher), the vehicle following would get out with a long 2x4 and push up the wires until he could clear them. At some point they ran into some trees which were too low and then proceeded to trash the roof and siding driving the home through the branches. Somehow I don't think the movers were pro's either LOL Most home movers do this at night, these yahoo's tied up the only access road up and down the mtn we live on in the middle of the day. Redneck ingenuity, mtn style!!!
