Quick question. Still learning this whole leveling kit deal.

If I get the ReadyLift 3/1 kit using 275/55r20 is it going to look like my truck skipped leg day?

Damn ok. Well then I guess that I'll spend the money on a new grill. I just got new wheels so new, bigger tires aren't in the cards yet. Thanks @T-Rex266 !

This is a 3/1 on stock 275/65/18, they look small already and 20 will look smaller

That actually doesn't look that bad but you're right 20s will be worse. Thanks for the photo for reference.

Get smaller wheels. Smaller wheels will also be cheaper with tires. Larger the tire, the better it’ll look.

@T-Rex266 I just bought my 20" XDs. Great info though thanks.

@trd_dt I appreciate the photo for reference. Yeah that won't work. I'll just wait until my tires need to be replaced to level it.

I am planning to wait until I have to get new tires before doing a lift, for this same reason. The 275/55/20 tires look too small even before the lift.

    yup.

275/55/20 come stock on some models (including mine). I lifted 1.5" in the front and went up to a 295/55/20 tire. at a 3" lift you should go up to a 295/60/20 tire.

Here's mine with 295/65/R20. I got the truck used and am not 100% certain on the lift details.

Mine with 3/1 Eibach w/ rear shackles and stock tires. I will probably go bigger after these are done. I think the style of tire can make or break it if keeping a stock size with a lift of this kind.

See I kinda felt that with the XD Grenades they have the +25 offset and I have 275/55r20s but they are more aggressive being Cooper ATPs. That why I was wondering if it wouldn't look as bad as the regular michelins that come stock.

@Stroke250 rig looks pretty good as is even though it is a bit larger tire than mine

Otherwise I'll have $300 to spend on something else if I hold off on the lift.

Guys I really do appreciate all of the help and feedback!

I’m leveled on stock wheels and tires, I don’t care what people think so I’m gonna run them shitty stock tires till they are smooth then upgrade wheels and tires to some 17’s and 35’s .

Yeah @Samoan Thor and @belanger9 I might just do the same. If I don't do the lift now I'll end up regretting not getting it down when I had the cash handy. I'll tough out the look until at least next year. I can't stand looking at my truck with fresh wheels but it has that "squaty" look.

I went through this dilemma recently... "should I run down my tires on this brand new truck before doing
    anything?"

I ended up getting everything done right away so I can enjoy the look now. It'll take multiple years for tires and suspension components to wear out and justify an upgrade that way.

Guys one more question. I'm thinking about going the Bilstein 5100s route. Can I just buy the front set for now and then get the rears later?
