Mammoth Guards released their rear fender guards today. So I ordered matching two layer in the raw metal for the front and rear fenders. I have plans to modify them to make them my own.

@1UPPER where did you source your rims from? I love them. 12 might be to wide for me but I see they are offered in 10 also. Currently I have a 20x9 0 offset rim with 37x12.50x20 Mickey t atzp3. I also run pocket flares I'd love to widen out my stance a bit. Hope u don't mind me stealing your style! Red is my accent color though..thanks man.

 

They are a custom forged wheels. You pick your pattern, color and everything. You will spend $3,500 plus easy on forged wheels. So if that’s not in the budget there are other options. Have you seen these wheels by Fuel yet? They are a cast wheel and they come in this red and black tone. They will be a lot less money for sure.

Finally got my new battery and Savior Protected battery case installed. I love the look and function of it! I changed out the stock screw terminals with sae post terminals and mounted terminal blocks on top of them. This allows me to have multiple leads from each terminal.
The post terminals are elevated above the case. I also wrapped the lower terminals with electrical tape to make sure nothing can ground out.

I did have to extend both the positive leads and the main ground lead.

Those bottom blue spacers remove 99% of the vibration from the battery. It’s an impressive setup!

 

Here is a better pic of the base plate showing the six isolator bushings. This pic was before I fastened the bottom tray to the truck.

Not at all. I wanted to change my battery, alternator and main cables. So I decided to change my mount as well. It’s very functional but I also like the looks of it.

 

I installed my 18 led headlights. Thank you @iHacker for the very easy to use harness kit!

 

Today I’m working on the interior trim parts. I’m working on the center console trim. It’s always looks to plan for me. I’m about to paint the chrome trim next.

 

Can't wait to see the final product. I can't stand that little piece of chrome.

 

So I decided today is as good a day as any other day to take apart the inside of my truck. Lol


I’ve always had dust behind the clear plastic to the instrument panel. I didn’t know you could open it up in about five minutes. I finally got the dust out of it. It’s nice to have it all clean again!

does it take long to get those off? Or hard to?

 

I want to paint all chrome as well but got lazy thinking it will take too much time taking it out, painting and putting it back.

 

Well depending on how hard it is to take apart....i was thinking it can't be any harder than when putting in the FRAC

 

The two end ones are easy. It’s the middle two that suck.
