Help me decide

I’m in the market for a tundra tonneau cover. Just got me self a 2015 CM (for my wife) and need advice on brands and experiences. Looking to spend 200-600 maybe a bit more. All we will be using the bed for is a stroller and luggage’s on trips

 

Welcome from Texas, one piece UNDERCOVER SE tonneau cover here, it came with the truck as I bought it used, if and when I need a washer or dryer it's a BIG no, if going on a trip small things luggage, Rubbermaids what not yes

 

Id love a solid cover but i got a tyger soft trifold. Love it! Under 200 when I bought it.

 

I wouldn’t mind the folding ones. A hard one piece would be a hustle for the wifey I believe

 

Craigs list is your friend... Lots of trucks come with accessories that people take off. I Just installed a diamondback 270. It was 3x your budget, but it is BADASS!!!! Locks up like Fort Knox. It really depends on how long you plan to own the truck. I keep them 10 years so my ROI is a little easier to swallow.

A solid cover is the best for keeping things dry. All others allow "some" water in the bed. The "some" depends on a few factors but it doesn't take much to get something wet a mildew.

 

Have a tri fold Rugged 2 cover installed by dealer when I purchased my truck and absolutely love it.

 

These are my feelings as well. It’s about as safe as a convertible. If they want in they’re getting in. Hard cover is in my future but my soft cover works well for now.

 

I have BAKFlip F1 hard trifold cover and it's an excellent cover. Hard cover makes it more secure and trifold makes it more flexible. Even when I carry several bikes, I don't need to take off the cover.

I am not sure where the OP is located, but if you get snow, it may be painful during the snow season if you have a soft cover. My father-in-law came up to PA one winter with his soft tonneau cover. It snowed fair amount and we had to get out every couple of hours to clear the snow off the cover (so it won't cave in).
