Im a happy New Tundra Owner building my beast.

Ive owned this beautiful Tundra for a month and a half now and it has been an incredible build so far with the help of Tundras .com members!!. The list is way too long to do right now. I will write more in depth later. Super stoked I bought this bad boy. I am so addicted like many of you. I know 90% of you on here like the. "Blacked out" look, but I am a Chrome guy to the death. I like to be different. I like the look and always have since I was a kid with a chromed out VW Beetle engine.

Tomorrow and the rest of the week will be delivery after delivery of more goodies. Bully Dog Tuner and Weigh Safe HD hitch in the morning. Entire truck getting the LED conversioninside and out and the TRD Dual Exhaust getting put in Thursday. Wooooo Hoooo! Thank you all who helped me along the way with great ideas! More pics to come all this week! Here are just a few before and afters for now. Day 1 at the dealership.

Great looking truck!!! I have a 2011 Tundra, kind of base model double cab like yours with the chrome bumpers/steel wheels. I'm wanting to do the chromed out look, my truck is navy blue so the chrome really pops with the dark color. Right now I replaced the mirror caps and front door handles with chrome.

I'm also digging your grill and side steps(I have some ugly black ones on it now). What brand are they, where did you get them and how much???

As for the wheels, I don't think I'm going chrome on those, thinking about a bronze or silver type of wheel, similar style to those laced wheels like you have. See how it looks with wheels, then decide if I want a level kit on it or not.

 

Hold that thought. I am actually going to sell those side steps if you like them. Im going bigger. I will write more after coffee and breakfast. May be later tonight. Def stick with silver wheels. Grille is called the Platinum.
You wont believe this truck in person. At night this thing is jaw dropping! The LED Lights and light bar blew our minds. The alarm was installed with remote start and Super Bright Marine Blue LED in the footwells. I have a lot of pictures to take and post when im totally done.

 

1-2 or 3 gen...Tundras are just plain SEXY!
