Thanks all. But the Tundra is not going to happen. Too much per month for my blood. Gotta wait until I can get more of a down payment. Which will be a while.... :annoyed:

Thanks! I hope so, too. Nothing like driving and paying for a vehicle that you do not like at all...

    Look at used tundras?

Set up an auto trader alert for what you want...can’t hurt..

As much as I would love to do that, Id have to deal with selling my LEASED Tacoma. That is a PITA from what I understand, and I am also in the red by about 4G on it. That was going to get rolled into the Tundra. Then I would have to sell my old Tacoma for a good down payment. Even then I was looking at a $700/ month payment. Many moving parts. Best to just wait till I can sell my house I am in now and buy a smaller house for just me and my dog. That'll help out a lot. So maybe by this time next year. Hopefully....

Getting out of a lease isn’t all that bad... it’s a bit of work, but not terrible. It’s your time and money, but if it was me I’d get out of the lease and buy a 2015 or so. They are good trucks and I wouldn’t hesitate to buy used (after doing due diligence- carfax, my mechanic looks it over etc). A lot of what I found on auto trader was used cars from dealers... could probably structure a deal with them. There was an Audi dealer here that had a tundra when I was looking - 2 years old, 30k mi, 2/3 the cost of a new one on the sticker. But negotiate on PRICE... NEVER on payments... just my 2c - good luck to you however you go.

The platinum comes with the honeycomb grill. The TRD Pro has its own Pro grill. I do not see a 2019 TRD Pro in your future. Prove me wrong!

Im lurking more than a fat kid outside of a candy store.... Seeing all these rigs on this forum is just making me antsy in pantsy and drooling more than Rosie O'Donnell at an all you can eat buffet.

I really like the way this gen of Tundras look. I hate to see what they come out with for the next gen. Its always a gamble, isn't it?

It is a gamble...I mean look at the Tacoma, this new gen has people up in arms about all sorts of issues.

Maybe it will get better maybe they change the engine to improve mpg and blow it. Maybe they change it and it is great. I am just hoping that they learn from the mistakes made on the Tacoma.

Good luck...if I were you I'd time it so you could buy new gen or the last year of this gen. Test both and pick the one you like. Plus if you still like this gen better, you'd probably get a great deal on it as they will have to make room for new year and gen tundras.
