So I bought a fog kit and I dont want to use all the unnecessary wiring that came with the kit. Especially since my truck is pre-wired with harness' to make it work.

I went out and purchased a relay for my fogs as well. Now my switch to my fogs has a harness as well. Which kind of makes it easy.. except Im not 100% certain which wire I need to hard wire into.

My issue at hand is not whether they are on all the time or not. Just when I activate them with the switch. Thats what I wish.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have researched for hours trying to find a diagram or solid information but have been unsuccessful.

    Thanks in advance!

Can you just wire them into existing wires, I have not looked at mine but I would figure a positive and negative.

I think the wiring from lights to switch is all there but you need to wire up a relay with constant power. That's what he's asking. I'm not sure but its been done and I'm sure someone has a quick answer

I know there is certain wires that I can tap into. But not sure which wire im looking for? Its complicated when your looking at a connector and someone says to put the Red wire with the green wire and the white wire with the blue wire. LOL.. do you know how many wires there are that have the same color? LOL.. I have the lamps installed and hooked up to the factory harness'. I also have the relay and the rocker switch installed. Now if I can just figure out which cables access the relay in the fuse panel, I'd be able to finish this project.

As someone who is going through a huge electrical ordeal due to using aftermarket lighting, allow me to impress upon you the importance of using the right gauge wire/fuses lol. Imo, any lighting addition that pushes for the modification of the harness should be done by an electrical whiz or avoided altogether lol.
