Hate to fly but wife wanted a trip to Florida. Booked it through Costco, flight rental car, and 6 nights at the Waldorf Astoria Boca Beach Club. Entire package was around 3000.00. Gotta say it was worth it! Private beach, warmest water I’ve ever swam in, most exotic cars I’ve ever seen...yeah it was worth the flight!E7E24F92-BE7C-49C1-9D21-F9C866739C34.jpg235A5BEE-C8C9-4EC1-B4D0-F1F05FDCD253.jpg3F109977-7282-4D28-B8D7-4F405B51FA14.jpg

I fly most every week as part of my job for the last 21 years. I used to go to a lot of "exotic" places on points, just having to pay the taxes on flights and rental cars. The hotels were points only. These days my dedicated vacations trips have dwindled down and I tend to spend more time around home riding my bicycles.

You picked the correct coast to visit. We (Gulf side) keep getting Lake O water released into our waterways which causes brown water and “red tide”. Great for a tourist based economy.
