I want to cut some foam out from under my rear seat to make some storage space in my crewmax. I plan to have the rear seats and carpet out soon for sound deadening anyway. Can someone take some measurement and maybe pics of where you hollowed out the foam?
Also does anyone know if its possibly to make a larger hollowed out area on the drivers side seats, the larger of the folding pieces? I assume not because maybe there's some structure there. I plan to cut out areas, sound treat it, make a box from wood, glue carpet to top side of box, then it'll all be covered by my rear floor liner anyway. Thanks to those who can help me out. I'm really only looking for drivers side measurements and ideas.

The more I look at pics of the esp and install videos I'm starting to think my idea won't work so well. I'll probably get only about 2-3 inches of depth, story of my life, out of my idea. I may need to alter it a bit so the container extends above the level of the carpet, like the esp units do. Still would like measurements of hole locations though.

    Thanks Harris,
I also like those subs and the location. One day I'll be able to get my stereo figured out. It drives me crazy but the upgrade on these jbls come at a serious cost

Strongly agree. I ended up changing the HU, added component speaker, amps, sound deadening w hideaway subs. Sound is amazing now and I dont hear my bank account crying....
