Brand new truck only 600 miles is this normal.

    Yes, this is normal especially if you are in humid climates. If it bothers you too much, wire wheel the rust off and POR15 or something like that.

    It's just surface rust. Take a wire wheel to it or a steel brush. It'll come right off.
