What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

Used my tundra to drop off and pick up Madelyn for the 182nd and final day this year. Proud of my soon to be 2nd grader. Didn't miss a day of school all year. I hope she has a great summer.

Not really sure, I had to put a couple Ford's in their place a time or two during the trip as well. AC on the whole time too. That figure is about 1mpg off if I manually check it.

That is cool. My oldest son is 15, he'll be a sophomore this coming school year. He has never missed a day of school since he started kindergarten.

 

Yeah, we are proud of him. It's been his goal to finish school with perfect attendance since the 6th grade.

Over the past 5 days a 2,000mile road trip to Florida. On the way down stopped at Santee lake SC, then continued onto Lake Louisa state park in Florida. Took my daughter to Disney while we were there, pretty fun time and the camping was great there. Today I made the whole trip back in one shot, only stopped for fuel. Pulled my pop up camper, averaging 70-75mph and returned 16mpg, truck was a champ and comfortable the whole time.

Oh and found "Tundra mountain" at a dealer along 95 on the way back.

 

I just told her: 'I LOVE YOU'...

Scuffed, cleaned, 3-coat paint, 2-coat clear, lite wet-sand.

They are sdhq sliders. I think they were around 1200. But quality is second to none. I love them. Well worth the money.

Today I dropped the bad boy off to get a paint correction and coating. Went with artic coating. They gave me a nice little Honda Accord to drive til I pick it up. Got me missing it already.

Before I dropped off my love to get an artic coating, I had to give it a going away present. A 10k Gen Y torsion drop hitch.

Look it up online, they're pretty crazy. Even if u don't want to go all out, they got regular drop hitches and accessories that are top notch, priced competitive, and get great ratings. I mean theres zerk grease fittings and built in tongue weight scales on this hitch.

I'm really hoping I got it right this time with my hitch choice. Shit it better be right because I lost money on the last 2 mistakes I made and had to mortgage my house to get it lol. No need to carry anything besides this. Comes with pintle attachment, reverse ball 2 & 2 5/16 and optional at cost screw in 1 7/8 to the reverse ball. It's extremely versatile and eliminates multiple hitches. Shit u can even put in multiple any 2 inch shank accessories all at the same time if u wanted. Tow a camper, add a bike rack, tailgate bbq, hitch step, hook whatever u desire all at once. If nothing else, with the possibilities endless, it's probably the most versatile hitch on the market. I mean it does everything but make u a morning cup of coffee.

The hitch is built crazy solid and durable, finish looks great, it's real sexy for just a hitch. Nothing really like it on the market. It's built to handle rough terrain and since I spend a good amount towing off road on very bumpy uneven terrain I think this will be perfect for me. It eliminates the bounce and harsh feeling of the constant battle between truck and trailer when towing. More control, more safe, and less wear and tear on both truck n trailer.
