Been thinking about these but I dont like how the fronts use strings to secure them at the bottoms vs clips like the wet okoles.

 

I had these for 4 years in my FJ-

I thought the same at first regarding the string. Loved them in the FJ, miss them a lot!

They were flawless!

 

So I didn't do it yet.... but in the days to come, hopefully by the weekend

 

how does the leather feel?

 

nice!! where did you get a grab bar for the driver's side? what parts are needed? are the internals there to support it?

Was it difficult to replace the front bumper ends? Did you need anything else besides the new ends?

 

There is a full write up on here for the install. This was just a screen shot of the one clip with threads and one bolt you need besides the two OEM parts. Just make sure what color interior you have before you order parts. I ordered locally since I get everything next day and no shipping cost.

Pro Tip, go to a junk yard to see if there's any Sequoia's or Tundra's with the handle first. I think @ARamirez73 did that and saved quite a few bucks.

That's correct, paid $25 for the handle at a junk yard, look around your local area and surrounding, ther is a build thread in the DIY mod section

Only thing I don’t like about mine is when I go get loose mulch for the yard with it

She was not since I would not let her run around the neighborhood. They have strings but its not for securing them. Not exactly what they are for but they do have straps at the bottom which are more than sufficient to keep them in place.

 

Feels great. They do not have a cheap feeling to them at all. I had another brand of leather seat covers for my old car and doesn't come close to these.

 

Does it rub?

 

Not at all, perfect size for stock suspension and wheels in my opinion.

 

Replaced my shifter with a Tacoma TRD Pro one. I like the style of these much better then the Tundra TRD ones.

 

What if I told y’all the the sequoia trd sport has a nice shifter............ f this website right, look it up lol

 

yeah I defiantly don't like that. Trying to get rid of all the chrome inside. Next thing to go after that is the wood accents.
