I see a lot of owners' posts stating they started an OEM upgrade but nothing from anyone confirming they actually did it. I get mixed answers from posts stating that the wiring is there but others saying you need to buy the harness's and run wiring.

It seems that since the bumpers are multi- sectional that if the end caps and center piece on rear are replaced with sensor hole equipped sections - then the rest would be plug and play to install the parking sensors. I am sure sensors and some additional parts would need to be purchased but how would cost, function, look, compare to the after-market installs.

Has anyone actually done this? Can someone confirm the 2018 SR5 is prewired?

    Thanks!
