Definitely cant see wheels in the dark LOL

I had a buddy who was in a jam and need to buy a car after work one evening. Saw it the next day and realize he'd been had. (Hed bought a used car and the clear coat was destroyed on it. Had a bunch of scratches he couldnt see with the parking lot lights too.)

Always a good idea to give it a walk around in the daylight, even if it's brand new.
They had to repaint the panel under the passenger side light because it got scraped up pretty bad at some point. Glad I saw it at the dealership when i was picking it up or I most likely have to pay for it.

Close call. I'll try to get there early and take a look. Sun doesn't go down until 8:30 so I got a window after work.

Probably wouldnt have been a huge deal on that tiny piece - just worth a look is all I'm saying.

It depends on the market. Where I live in the N Cal Valley, everyone has either a full size pickup or SUV in white so dealers are tight. In the Bay area Tacomas rule. The local used truck specialty lots sells used trucks for an incredible amount. If you can afford it, it's almost better to buy a new truck if you can afford it and no one around here has a used Tundra.

+1, OTD prices do not do others any good when comparing. TTL varies state to state. I have even seen posts where people include trade in. Lets see I paid $22k OTD for mine. Is that a good price?

18s went up about $1k. When I bought my 17 the 18s were about to come out. My plan was to wait another 5 months but the extra $1k and rebates on 17s pushed me to act. If dealer is telling you $3k they are liars.

I Remember when a truck was for workers who had to have a pickup and was the least expensive thing on the lot and not a luxury liner for trendy bankers !

Well, so 30 min before our appointment with him today, he texted "just kidding, this deal is not at all possible. I knew you were going to use my best price to shop around so I gotta do what I gotta do to protect my best interest" Lewis Phan from Don McGil Toyota. Fair enough. I don't even know to laugh or mad lol

Looks like a good deal.. I paid about 44k for my 17 that’s an SR5 TSS with nav 38gal tank remote start bed liner cargo bed lights

44k doesnt include ttl and such, just truck price... everyone says the 18s go for 3k more, so that seems like a good deal to me... let’s see what others say :)

I would go to the dealership and ask for the owner. Tell him you were coming to buy at that price and that fuck-stick had pulled the offer like that. Ask if that is their business practice because he needs to prepare to be flamed all over the internet and complain to Toyota directly. In all actuality, you may get the truck

Just over $37k here in GA for a rare SR DC Loooooooooooong bed 5.7l with 4wd. Bed liner included. Everything else I would have upgraded anyway.

    I hate paying for stickers.

    Yea, Thanks man.
My wife and I decided to drop it. He did say it's "A" deal, not "the" deal. There are so many ways to argue about and it might end up making myself look dump and I prolly would never get the deal since it's so below the average. Oh well, one of those "it is what it is"

Hold the Line! If you are not holding the line, abandon your ship. Destruction is inevitable without more to hold the line!
The local Ram dealership offers 30% of MSRP (on select packages). I still don't think it is a good deal.
