Hey everyone. Glad to have found this site.

I left my Tundra in my driveway for 3 days while on a short trip and when I came home last Friday, my rear view mirror was dangling from the cable, no longer mounted on the windshield. The mirror didn't just come unglued, the windshield actually broke. There was a crack in the windshield and a chunk of windshield still attached to the silver button the mirror slides onto. I started the truck up just to turn it on since it hadn't been started for several days. Started up fine, so I turned it off.

On Wednesday, the windshield guy came out and replaced the windshield but botched the job, cracking the replacement windshield after it was installed. Unfortunately, I did not get to witness his work. The windshield company sent out a new windshield Thursday (yesterday) with a different person who installed it and did a pretty good job as far as I can tell.

Here's the issue though, after the botched the job Wednesday, I noticed these strange things that weren't present before:

#1) Key fobs will not work at all. From the outside, the door must be unlocked manually with key.
    #2) Cannot arm alarm system.
#3) Slip indicator light stays on.
    #4) Airbag light stays on.
#5) Seatbelt light stays on even when seatbelts are fastened.
#6) Rear view mirror HomeLink system no longer opens garage door and I can't even get it to reset. Holding down the two outer buttons does not give the red light as it is supposed to, it only stays solid green.

Everything else seems to be working fine. Is it possible that the first windshield guy cut a wire somewhere? The only wires that I know of that are close to the windshield are those that connect the rear view mirror. Are there any other wires near where the windshield mounts that could possibly be cut or shorted?

I would recommend what a lot of others do when the trucks are acting weird on electric issues. Unhook the battery for 15-20 minutes and then hook it back up. To many different electric systems for a cut wire to affect.
