I can get a new set of black spyders are under 300 and I think I'll go for it and then add toytecs HID kit.
I have a platinum with LED DRL and would like the light tube to act as DRL if possible. Even if not possible I want these lights to work. Also I wanna swap the leveling motors over. I think both of these options can be done but I keep reading this ... Fitment: 2014-17 Toyota Tundra
[Attention: Not Compatible on Models w/ Factory LED DRL Headlights]
[Attention: Not Compatible on Models w/ Headlight Leveling Function]

and it makes me second guess my choice for spyders. any help would be greatly appreciated. I have some basic wiring knowledge and feel comfortable doing what needs to be done.

I think I can get 5% more off as well if I subscribe to their email list.

TRD Air Filters, Front door windows tinted to match the rears. Wheel locks, Talons Garage cat shield, Tyger Automotive soft tonneau cover, WeatherTech floor mats with Tuff Skinz Custom Emblem kit, Toyota OEM Emblem Black Out kit. AVS vent covers on all four doors, Red Tundra letters on front bumper & TRD highlighted in Red on front grille. Tailgate Tundra Letters in Black.
Just buy the stock 2018 led headlights. That way your headlight adjusters still work.

Swapping the leveling motors over to the spyders is easy. Not sure about the drl issue, but I’ve seen others discussing how to wire the LED tube as a drl. I have the toytec HIDs in my spyders. Very happy with the output. However, mine shake noticeably over bumps.

I'd love to have the 18s. Just don't have the cash for that kinda upgrade, even a cheaper retro would be nice but out of my budget

Same here. Leveling motors were a breeze to swap. Others here have hooked up the DRL’s. I’d say go for it. I paid almost 400 for these, so that’s a great deal.

Check with eledobleu, he has on his site that he makes retros on a budget. IMO, retros are better than the 18’s and they are way better than spyder HLs
