Does anyone have this issue with it hitting the mount? If you look closely toward the right on the edge there is a spot with paint missing near the outlet to the reservoir...I did a quick search but did not notice any related threads. However, other than notching it any ideas on solutions?030E25BE-0F4F-453F-BBCE-96F510463531.jpg

Ive seen this on the tacoma forum with Icon shocks.
Im thinking notching be the only way to fix it.

Put a washer (1/8"-1/4" thick) under the mount between the shock. Do it on the other side too.

Also, can you rotate the shock body itself? Is there enough slack in the hose to the reservoir to do that?

Yes it’s common, look closely at the mount. There is usually a ghost line where it should of been trimmed/cut when made, compare with passenger side. Not all are like that but many are, here is mine before and after trimming. See the line?

    Trim the mount.

Careful when shimming shocks. If you do, cycle the suspension and make sure the bump stop is engaging before the shock bottoms out. Great way to screw up a shock or bend/snap off a mount (usually on the axle).

Yes, I have tried it. I got it to move a little but I ran out of room with the reservoir mount. I'll either shim or notch it I suppose.

Yeah I see the fine line there. Did you Dremel or use a grinding wheel?

Cut off wheel on a small air grinder.
