    Too many online and I can't figure out whats right. I was going to try some vise grips, but then I figured it might be better to just pick up a dedicated clamp tool.

    Does anybody have a recommendation for the right hose clamp tool to buy for the radiator hose clamps??

    You'll want something like these basically, capable of reaching difficult areas.

    Majority of the time, I just end up using channellocks otherwise known as tongue and groove pliers.

    No problem, if you don't feel like waiting then your local AutoZone should have something similar under the brand "OEM".

    yeah just like the ball joint puller I bought for $20. I'll only use it for uniballs, but damn it sure made it easy lol

    Yeah have one of those too, we were talking about different uses though. The one I posted is a separator as an alternative to the old school pickle fork.

    For the C-clamp press, if it's in a hard to reach area heat up the ball joint with a torch and then hit it with an air hammer ... typically they will fly out.

    I have 1 inch uniballs. Hammer won't do it. c clamp was easy

    You would hope until you work on a domestic where that C-Clamp just opens up without the ball joint going anywhere. Actually had them break as well. Gotta love the rust belt.
